St. Augustine is a turf grass used at many homes and widely recognized as one
of the most desired types of grass for any lawn because of its density and colors
that can be dark green to blue-green. It's adapted to the warm and humid regions
of the world and in Florida, St. Augustine is the most commonly planted turfgrass
in urban and coastal areas.
While it's a tolerant grass capable of being grown in a variety of soils and can survive in the shade, it can fall to improper fertilization, and to major pests and invasive weeds.
Extreme Pest Management's Weed and Feed Turf Care programs addresses these issues and treats your lawn. Our service covers the most damaging of insects such as chinch bugs, army worms, sod web worms, mole crickets, grubs, billbugs, and fire ants (our services doesn't cover nematodes). We also provide treatments to certain lawn diseases like brown patch and dollar spot fungus. We also include our special blend of liquid and grandular fertilizers if needed.
Our Weed control program treats your lawn for broad-leaf weeds, such as dollar weed, hawksbeard, wood sorrell, and clovers. Please note that Sedge is aquatic in nature so control of sedge is achieved by changing watering habits or retention. Also note that certain minor weed problems like Crab Grass, Torpedo Grass, Wild Bermuda, and crows foot offer no selective herbicide control and can only be physically removed and rounded up.
